Through this partnership, HPAH is supporting the planting of over 1,000 trees, helping restore natural ecosystems and combat climate change. This initiative aligns with HPAH’s values of corporate responsibility, sustainability, and tangible reconciliation efforts, reinforcing commitment to staff-led initiatives, giving back to the environment and impacting Indigenous Communities.

Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital Veterinarians volunteer their time at WildNorth’s wildlife hospital in the city of Edmonton. They assist WildNorth staff in caring for a multitude of local wildlife species found both within and outside the Edmonton city limits. This care can be as varied as the species themselves! Some days may involve a simple examination or reviewing x rays, while others may hold a surprise, with a lineup of different surgeries, both complex and straightforward, needed to get our beautiful local wildlife back outside.

The Community Cats Edmonton team focuses their time and energy on improving the lives of unowned community cats in Edmonton, Alberta. Our Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital Vet team assists them in their care for orphaned kittens by spaying and neutering adult cats to help manage populations.

Reptile & Amphibian Foster Team
The HREF was put in motion in 2020 to help facilitate the fostering and rehoming of surrendered reptiles and amphibians in Alberta. In that short time, they have helped many exotics pets find their forever home. Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital assists with assessments and care of their foster animals. Occasionally Harvest Pointe staff will foster specific individual animals that need temporary care.

Tails of Help
Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital is a proud supporter of Tails of Help, a registered charity that facilitates access to essential veterinary care for Albertans facing financial hardship. We participate in the annual Alberta Challenge, where veterinary clinics compete to fundraise for this charity, and won the 2024 competition!
