As a locally owned veterinary clinic in Edmonton, we’re more than just a place where pets receive care—we’re a proud part of the community we serve.  This allows us to not only provide exceptional care to our furry, scaled, and feathered friends but also to give back to the community that has supported us.  From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll feel the difference that comes with being locally and independently owned.   

Our Story

Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital opened its doors in July 2020.  We are owned and managed by veterinary professionals, with experience that helps us understand your unique needs better.  Our team lives here, shops here, and participates in local events. We are members of the same local clubs and societies as some of you. We see the impact of our work daily, from watching pets grow up with families to helping owners navigate the challenging times when their pets need extra care.

Independent Ownership

One of the joys of independent ownership is that we direct the course of our business. This has given us the ability to get involved with our community. We don’t just treat pets; we actively engage with the people who make up our neighborhood. Whether we’re partnering with local animal rescue groups, sponsoring community events, or supporting other small businesses, we believe that a healthy community is built on mutual support and cooperation.  Some of the causes we support are:

  • Animal rescue groups, including Meika’s Safehouse, the Herptile Rescue and Education Foundation, Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society, and Community Cats

  • Tails of Help, a charity that helps pet owners with the cost of care

  • Injured and ill wildlife by working with partners, like WildNorth and the Alberta Society for Injured Birds of Prey

  • Environmental stewardship and reforestation by supporting our partner, Project Forest
